I'm visiting the Concordia in Austin Texas for a conference on Social Work, with an emphasis on child refugees and immigrants. I know I am being prepared for the journey to come. Sometimes Jesus surprises me in the most beautifully simplistic ways. Like a thunderstorm.
Well, Jesus, bring the rain.
"He came and preached peace to those near and far away, and wrote his laws on the hearts of his people, from the least to the greatest; so listen, those who pursue righteousness and seek the Lord: look to the rock from which you were cut, lift up your eyes to the heavens- His salvation will last forever, His righteousness will never fail, His peace will transcend all understanding, guarding hearts and minds against the thieves who steal, kill, and destroy... I am always in awe about how beautiful your faith is. Can't wait to see how much God does through you on this trip.
